Mother's milk is the best nutrition — but did you know its value declines day by day after birth? Grams per day; 1 cup = 120 g. A puppy's intake varies with breed, age in months, litter, environment and exercise. 1–4 months: increase gradually and watch the stool — sausage-shaped, smooth and soft means the amount is right. 5–12 months: once your puppy reaches its breed's standard weight, reduce the amount or switch to the adult feeding guide; large breeds may stay on Junior until 18 months.
How to feed — 2–4 weeks: crush the kibble, add 40–50 °C warm water, stir and wait 3–5 minutes (large breeds not yet eating on their own: feed the broth with a syringe). 4–8 weeks: add warm water directly, stir and wait 3–5 minutes (large breeds may eat dry). After 8 weeks: serve dry kibble.
